5th Blog:Today's events

Hi. YAHOO, HURRAY, YES, OH YEAH!!!! Did I ever mention that today is a school holiday? Well, I not very certain about other schools and all but I sure do know that Victoria School gave a day off which is today YAHOO. Today was all about enjoyment till around 8 o'clock for me just now. Why the whole day was pure fun for me, except parts that required attention. I woke up at the 8 as usual and to my expectations the whole family was out - father working, sisters at school, mother getting groceries and me slacking at home.OK Im a pretty bad guy slacking and all but its because of the day off. Around lunch time I had to go fetch my sister downstairs as she was going home from school herself. We had our lunch only after our mother came home from NTUC fairprice around 1+. I couldn't wait for the results of the America's got talent show finale that was tonight.

I played computer games till almost 4 but was reprimanded and could not play no more. Another unfortunate event was that I missed the class outing at school because my mum did not let me out of the house. So I stayed at home wondering whether I should do something or not. Seeing it was a holiday, I lazed around in the living room watching OKTO. What a heck of a channel it was showing all kinds of shows for children to enjoy.
Later on, in the evening I rushed to turn on the TV so that I can view the finale of America's got talent. I was thoroughly excited as my favourite contestant won. Another joy to be celebrated! Hope next year a better guy will win the contest. BYE!!!!

4th Blog: A normal day at home

What does a simple boring do to someone when there is also nobody at home. Well the answer for me is that I will easily get on the sofa and watch TV of play console games at home. But sometimes i also go downstairs and play sports. That was what happened to me today. As you might not know, yesterday I came home late and therefore woke up late hence missing my morning weekly show which then pissed me off causing me to continue sleeping again. (just for fun) NO! What really happened was when I woke up my whole family had left for breakfast outside at a coffee shop nearby. I was left alone but I had the initiative of cooking for myself. Unfortunately, my parents had bought for me Nasi Lemak (a traditional Malay food) which cost me to finish it although i was already full.

Its OK i thought when we left the house for someone (i think it was my mother's cousin) wedding at Marsiling. But when we reached the placed there was more FOOD TO BE EATEN!!!! I wanted to regurgitate all that was digested. So i did not touched a single cell of food there, well maybe except for the drinks - hey you cant blame me I'm always thirsty!!! We headed straight for home as we had booked the tennis court for 2 hours and my friend Haziq (that guy in Malaysia )and his family was coming over for a small game with us - its a weekly thing. We played and played till our foots were sored. We were so deeply playing that we didn't realise the next occupants were here.

As embarrassed as we were, we left the pitch and had a nice, cooling shower to refresh us. Later on we did our evening prayer and had a lovely dinner with our friends. We all enjoyed our moments basking in each others company. Well that was what enjoyment brings a person to. So long for now!

3rd Blog;Still at Malaysia

WASSUP people! I'm back from Malaysia. It was a stunning day as we got off to a sleepy start but overall, I enjoyed my stay at Bukit Indah. The day started late around the 11 o'clock period where my family and my mother's friend family just woke up. We were all drained out due to coming back late in the night to celebrate the Chinese festivities. Nevertheless some of us managed to wake normally and get to do our morning prayer - luckily I was one of them! Now back to story. As we all grouchily waking up, my friend also named Haziq was the only guy not half asleep. And he was awake since 7 when most of us were still in bed. I found out that he had been playing his new downloaded game from the Internet. I'm telling you he is the only guy known to me that ever wakes up at 7 just to play games - dumb freak!!

Well after a heavy brunch, we straight away left for JUSCO the one in Tebrau City and not in Bukit Indah. My friends and I were super excited as we were just informed that there was a chance that we might be going to movie.( Movies are cheaper in Malaysia ) We started window shopping as soon as we got into the mall. It was stupendously HUGE not to mention that that was just one sector of the mall. We shopped till we dropped - our legs were so freaking tired after walking about an hour. Our was not due till about 2 so we figured out that it was time for lunch. We ate and ate and ate until all of us were in need of the washroom to throw up. Prayer time was quick to follow and we soon found ourselves in a mosque just outside the mall.

Later on, after collecting the tickets, our parents bumped into their old friends and they had an unbearable long talk which forced us to wait for 15 minutes outside the cineplex. Now let me tell you about the movie I watched - Inkheart. Its especially interesting as it really brings out the meaning of making stories come alive. It also captures the the sense of love that should be enforced in families. But today it was quite sad as we were all going back to Singapore. Nevermind there will always be a next time right? Hope you enjoyed reading this!!!!

2nd Blog:To Malaysia

HI again! Let me tell you today i went to my house in Malaysia and it was fantastic. You might be wondering why I'm saying this, but its because this was the first time in 4 months I've been to Bukit Indah in Johor Bahru. Yes yes. You should be asking me why didn't I go during the holidays but my CCAs have interfered my chances to go. Then why call it a holiday!! That's why my family and I took the liberty of the Chinese New Year holidays This is a sample picture of a house in Bukit Indah.

Its was a tiring trip to our destination, since it was Chinese New Year. We got stuck in a massive jam that lasted for about 1 hour. I could not take the tension in the car that when we arrived, i vomited my stomach out. Yuck! You would never want to see the sight of the ...... After clearing the mess in the cubicle, i came out feeling nauseous and fell asleep on the living room couch for a solid hour. C'mon a jam as early as 7 am, this is insane!! I knocked out with a painful abdomen after taking 2 tabs of panadol extra. Straight after i woke up, my parents brought my whole family to JUSCO Bukit Indah( a new shopping mall that is situated just outside the borders of our area - a bit like IMM ). The shopping mall smelt of newness and the smell of chinese products due to the festivities of the Chinese people.

At the mall,we viewed a performance by the Chinese. They displayed a wonderful act of grace which portrayed how people look at the Chinese. I'M PROUD TO BE HALF CHINESE YAHOO!! But i must say being a "half -breed" is quite an interesting figure to be. What do i mean? I can enjoy both the Malay and the Chinese heritage. But HELL NO i do not want to be classified under babas and nyonyas. I'll beat you to a pulp if you say so - i mean it. :)We scanned the whole shopping complex only to find the shops closed for the festival. What a waste of time!

Luckily that night we had a meal of pure delight as we celebrated the night at Pizza Hut with my mother's friend's family. We really enjoyed the crunchy crusts of the outer rim, the savouring sweetness of the sauce that encrusted the base and especially the pepsi that gassed down my devouring stomach. And that was pretty much happened. We continued to sleep there for two more day till tomorrow. That's all folks!

1st blog:The Haziq

ABOUT ME: Hi I'm Haziq if you don't know who i am. I'm currently an undergraduate in an institution named Victoria School. My aspirations are to be a top-classed banker like my dad. I know that sounds a lil bit difficult but i can assure anyone that with hard work and perseverance anyone can achieve excellence in whatever he/she does. In school i feel that I'm the odd one out as I'm a nerd(as Francis calls me)that excels in sports than in studies. Further more i am limited by boundaries that prevent me from exceed my fullest potential. THIS HAS GOT TO STOP RIGHT NOW! I have sworn to be more attentive during class-AS IF!

TODAY'S CLASS: Today was as mundane as ever although there were the China buddies whom which i could not understand shit what they were talking. Quite sad though Francis will be leaving me tomorrow. Not overseas but over a few floor tiles. Today started off "EARLY" at 9;30. The time supposedly be the actual one was at 7:30. We were given half day off to celebrate the O-levels result that was good this year. During the 2 hour interval, my friends and i had to accomplish our project which was to measure the length of the school crest. My group had actually derived the answer which was the closest we could get-although no one could have possibly given a damn. The day continued normally until silly Jerry forgot to bring my table tennis racket. That really pissed me off. I went home late as usual around 8 as i lived in Woodlands.

YEAH i know what stupid idiot wound travel half of Singapore to go to Victoria. But actually its not all bad-you get to meet new friends and teachers E.T.C. Back to the topic as i was entering my grandfather surprised me to welcome me home. A little treat as he rarely comes down from Johore Bahru. Although there are certain things that are not planned as they are supposed to be, there will always be a silver lining. Hope you enjoyed reading this
